Managing Director
Akshay, a graduate of St. Xavier's College (Mumbai University) with a degree in Management, joined the family business famously known as M/s Haulers India, in 2005. Mentored by his father, Mr. Arun Kumar, Akshay began by expanding the company's reach from bulker logistics to mining contracts.
His entrepreneurial drive led him to establish Spectrum Industrial Projects Pvt Ltd in 2009. Recognizing future trends, Akshay shifted the company's focus to specialized in-plant logistics in 2011, followed by dedicated warehousing services in 2013. He further spearheaded the creation of a property investment and trading division within the group.
Today, with his extensive experience, Akshay is instrumental in securing long-term contracts with clients and implementing cutting-edge technologies that will shape the company's success in the years to come.
Professional Director
Prior to joining Spectrum in 2020 as a Director (Strategy & Overseas Expansion), Trapti has over a decade experience in the IT sales field across several industry leading corporates. She leverages in-depth data science expertise from IIIT Bangalore to guide the company's strategic direction.
Promoter Director
Neela played a pivotal role in establishing Spectrum, providing both encouragement and financial support for its inception. She remains an active member of its board of directors. Before her involvement with Spectrum, Neela spearheaded a business in document handling services at Tata Steel Jamshedpur.
Founding Director & Mentor
Arun, a BITS (Pilani) graduate with a degree in management, decided to tap into his entrepreneurial spirit after 15 years of experience in senior management roles across the carbide, jute, and steel industries for leading Indian business houses.
In 1990, he struck out on his own, starting a company that marketed and distributed brands like Xerox, GE medical equipment, and carbide for steel plants. Five years later, in 1997, he founded Haulers India, one of the country's first companies to deploy pneumatic bulkers for handling desulfurization products in the steel industry. This pioneering move along with years of dedicated and history gives Spectrum a reputation it enjoys and maintains to this day.
Even after stepping down in 2013 and handing over the leadership to Akshay, Arun till date remains a trusted advisor and mentor at Spectrum.
Professional Director
Rajeo joined the Spectrum board as a guiding mentor for the property investments and trading vertical in 2021. He has also collaborated with Spectrum on property investments across various group companies. Before this, he amassed over 30 years of successful entrepreneurial experience in auto components manufacturing, construction, and property investments.

With a background in aviation, Sanjay switched gears and leveraged his business acumen to become a successful leader in Australian retail and services. He holds a science degree and postgraduate qualifications in business and migration law. After starting his career as a commercial pilot in the US and India, Sanjay has spent the last twenty years in Australia building a strong management career. He's held various leadership positions and also helped overseas businesses enter the Australian market.
Partnering with Spectrum in integrating its Australian subsidiary, Sanjay will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of the Australian business expansion and diversification in the years ahead.
